We are excited to be welcoming Sam Newall as our new Creative Planning Director. A GSC Alumni, and previous client, Sam’s experience as a senior creative communications and cultural marketing expert extends across luxury, lifestyle and drinks brands, including 14 years at Diageo Plc, in leading roles as Global Head of Luxury PR & Johnnie Walker, and Head of Culture & Entertainment for Europe.
Operating across the lifestyle sectors – beauty and wellbeing, food and drink, fashion and retail, homes and interiors, arts and culture – GSC has an established, award-winning reputation for trailblazing some of the past two decades as well as and giving lift-off to start-ups and brands who want to scale and cross borders establishing them as household names, including Starbucks, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Corinthia Hotel, Bicester Village Shopping Collection, Nurse Jamie, Hurr Collective, Selfridges and American Express.
Alongside Founder Gabrielle Shaw, Sam joins Tristan Connell as a key member of the GSC Senior Leadership Team. Tristan joined GSC in 2018 bringing a wealth of experience from the profit and non-profit sectors, including English Heritage, Help for Heroes, Nestlé and Lumene. Tristan was also MD at the global integrated agency, The Bank, leading the creative and strategic direction for SABMiller’s global brands Grolsch, Pilsner Urquell, and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, in partnership with GSC for over a decade.
