At GSC, we are proud to hold an established reputation of creating powerful brand propositions and cultivating brand desire. Our work has recently been recognised through GSC’s nomination as a finalist for the PRovoke & SABRE EMEA Awards; the world’s largest PR awards programme, celebrating Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement.
GSC was nominated within the Fashion and Beauty Industry for our HURR Collective UK Launch, the UK’s first online peer-to-peer wardrobe rental platform. Launched in 2019, as part of our sustainability and accelerator practice, the HURR Collective campaign is aimed to encourage more sustainable consumer behaviour by highlighting the benefits of the rental economy. By positioning renting as a more desirable and mainstream shopping trend, the campaign led the way towards curbing the environmental impact of fast fashion and successfully incorporating HURR’s two main objectives; to make renting an everyday occurrence and help to create a more sustainable fashion industry.

The launch strategy has previously won a HERMES Creative Award and has now been recognised by the SABRE Awards for the increased awareness it has created around the fashion rental economy. As a result of GSC’s campaign; HURR received over 10,000 sign ups within the first few months, allowing them to successfully achieve their first round of funding.
Not only does this reflect upon our passion for helping start-ups develop into global brands, but also highlights our continued focus on sustainability and the environment. This is particularly relevant this month alongside Oxfam’s Second-Hand September campaign, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of fast fashion by encouraging consumers to pledge to say no to purchasing new clothes for 30 days
We are constantly seeking to share our expertise with innovative brands that are; sustainable, diverse or instigated by female founders, and twice a year, we invite start-ups to apply for our Accelerator Programme and Brand Boot Camps.
Through our Accelerator Programme, we have created a plethora of workshops, tools and training to facilitate brands to not only succeed, but prosper within the marketplace.
