We are delighted to have been awarded a Hermes Creative Platinum Award for our work with COCOON. The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals. Each year, the competition judges assess the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, advertising, marketing and communication programmes. This year we were lucky enough to receive the award for Strategic Campaigning, Public Relations and Communications for our submission: The Rise of Rental, with COCOON.
The award recognised our strategic campaign which managed the announcement of a brand new investment round, with luxury goods group Kering taking a stake, positioning COCOON as a handbag authority and a pioneer in the circular economy whilst also driving profile for Co-founder and CEO Ceanne Fernandes-Wong. We generated over 67 pieces of international coverage secured in 2 months, with key titles include Business of Fashion, WWD, Vogue Business and Bloomberg) and a total global reach of 299,860, 737 spanning nine markets: UK, US, Italy, Russia, Netherlands, China, Hong Kong, Ireland and Spain.
Post the investment, we secured interview and speaking opportunities for Ceanne positioning her as a thought leader and her business at the centre of the luxury circular economy conversation. This strategy was bolstered by a targeted seeding campaign: we secured trials with top fashion editors and influencers at key fashion calendar moments, generating feature coverage across leading national newspapers and morning broadcast shows; we produced organic street style content and social tagging on Instagram amongst ‘press-influencers’. This culminated in 77 pieces of brand coverage for COCOON, over 30 media trials and loans.
