Building on the success of the 2018 inaugural British Fashion Council Designer Pop-Up at Bicester Village, GSC helped conceptualise and launch an expanded boutique for 2019, showcasing 30 British designers in a flagship location at the luxury shopping destination.
In 2018 and 2019, Bicester Village continued its longstanding partnership with the BFC with a limited-edition pop-up, The BFC Designer Pop-Up, and an ongoing mentorship programme. GSC was challenged with; bringing the pop-up to life, ensuring the boutique stood out each year, and raising consumer awareness around their long-standing partnership.
GSC set out to drive footfall and secure exclusive interview opportunities for Desirée Bollier, Value Retail’s Founder and Chief Merchant, with leading global fashion business publications. GSC also set up press interviews with the designers showcased within the boutique. The launch event at Bicester Village was managed by GSC and hosted by BFC chair members, Caroline Rush CBE, and Stephanie Phair. It attracted over 100 guests, including senior stakeholders, designers, BFC guests, key influencers and top-tier media. GSC ensured the longevity of the campaign by continuing to secure press visits to the pop-up after the launch.
